Professor Anne Ladegaard Skov receives the Grundfos Prize

Professor Anne Ladegaard Skov received the prestigious Grundfos Prize yesterday.

All sails were set yesterday at Grundfos in Bjerringbro as the Grundfos Prize ceremony. Professor Anne Ladegaard Skov was awarded the prestigious prize in recognition of her research in silicone-based elastomers, which, among other things, is used for artificial muscles and controlled drug release from patches.

Established by the Grundfos Foundation in 2001, the prize has since 2018 targeted young researchers through the theme "The Stars of Tomorrow". Anne Ladegaard Skov is thus the fifth young researcher to receive the award consisting of the sculpture Be-Think-Innovate and 1 million kroner, of which 750,000 is earmarked for further research in the winner's field.
