Har du overvejet at tage en ph.d., og er du nysgerrig på hvad vores ph.d.-studerende egentlig forsker i?

Her forklarer 8 forskellige ph.d.-studerende deres forskning gennem selvproducerede videoer.

DTU PhD student Francois Kruger /improving factories built under the sea

Agent Francois Kruger here, accepting my mission of a PhD at DTU Chemical Engineering. Check out my video explaining how we are investing and improving factories built under the sea .

DTU PhD student Alena Juraskova/ Structure – property relationship in coatings

Hi, my name is Alena and I´m currently doing my PhD here at DTU Chemical Engineering. My project is about structure – property relationship in coatings. A short video above will show you why is my research important and how the properties of a coating can be significantly changed by changing the structure. I´m really happy to do my PhD here and to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of better coatings materials.

DTU PhD student Yu Zhang / Environmental catalysis

Hi, my name is Yu Zhang and I come from China. Now, I am a PhD student here at DTU Chemical Engineering. Above you can watch a short video about my PhD project, which is about environmental catalysis, aiming at improving the air quality. I really enjoy doing my PhD here because of the high academic level and international environment.

DTU PhD student Elisa Ogliani /Investigation of thermal degradation of silicones

Hi, my name is Elisa Ogliani and I am currently doing my PhD here at DTU Chemical Engineering, at the Danish Polymer Centre research group. Above you can watch a short video about my research that I made, which focuses on the investigation of thermal degradation of silicones. Doing my PhD at KT is great because of the high and challenging educational level and because of the friendly and international atmosphere. Enjoy!

DTU PhD student Spardha Jhamb/Computer-aided Design of Sustainable Product Formulations

Hi, I am Spardha Jhamb and I’m currently doing my PhD on ‘Computer-aided Design of Sustainable Product Formulations, especially Solvent-based Coatings’ at DTU Chemical Engineering. Above you can watch a short video about my research that I have done so far, which centers around developing a model-based methodology for substituting hazardous chemicals from chemical-based products and their manufacturing processes. Doing my PhD here has been a wonderful experience because of my amiable colleagues, dedicated interest of my supervisors and a plethora of opportunities to develop both, interpersonal and technical skills.

DTU PhD student Giovani/ Combustion and Harmful Emission Control

Halløj! I am Giovanni and I am doing my PhD at the Combustion and Harmful Emission Control group of DTU Chemical Engineering. Working on a PhD project is often challenging, but nowhere else you will have the same feeling of being part of an open and worldwide research effort it. Here is a brief introduction to my project on auxiliary marine boiler!

DTU PhD student Jiang Shao/ Stretchable conductive elastomer

Hi, my name is Jiang Shao and I am currently doing my PhD at DTU Chemical Engineering. Above you can watch a short video about my research that I made, which centers around stretchable conductive elastomer. I really enjoy doing my PhD here because of the togetherness and high educational level.

DTU PhD student Frederico Montes/ Improving pharmaceutical processes

My name is Frederico Montes, and today I am a PhD student at PROSYS, in the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Together with the ModLife project I work daily to improve existing and new pharmaceutical processes, so that new drugs can get faster to the general consumers. It is a challenging task, but working in DTU showed me that everyone can contribute to a better society.
