Research areas
AT CERE's research activities are focused on applied thermodynamics (experimental and modeling), mathematical modeling as well as experimental and modeling activities related to enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and other petroleum applications.
Both fundamental and applied research is being carried out. Many of the applied problems are inspired by or based on input from CERE's industrial consortium.
Several of the mentioned research areas are connected and often combined with others for addressing broader problems within Chemical and Biochemical Engineering e.g. CO2 capture and storage, diverse topics within energy resources.
