Housing and course start

The course will start 4 July and finish 28 July 2022.

Accommodation must be reserved and paid by the student or the home university. We can recommend the following options:

Zleep Hotel Lyngby

The newly inaugurated Zleep Hotel Lyngby in reasonable walking distance from Campus, offers standard rooms for two participants at a rate of 40 Euro per person per night. Single rooms are 60 Euro per night. Double room with a small kitchen is 50 Euro per person per night. 


BaseCamp is a student residence company who offers apartments particularly for international students. The BaseCamp apartments in Lyngby offers a special price for our summer school participants: Accommodation in single room (Studio) with small kitchen and own bathroom in the period of 1 – 29 July is 1000 Euro (including utilities and bed linens). 

There will be a 30-40 minutes transportation from BaseCamp with bus/train to the DTU Campus.

If you prefer to book at Zleep Hotel Lyngby, you must contact the hotel, however mention you are to participate in the DTU Chemical Engineerings July 2022 summer school and you should get the special price.

Arrival at your accommodation should be latest Sunday 3 July, as the course will start Monday 4 July at 9 am. Course will end Thursday 28 July in the afternoon.
